look at cascade toboggan they have some great packages and they sell Voile shovels and probes with the new PIEPS transiever. That is what I have and I love the whole set up...it is all bomber stuff!

I need clipless pedals for a road bike and A steel pair of 12 point crampons w/o a toe wire my new plastic boots don’t fit my old crampons, but my summer boots dont have a toe notch ugh let me know what you have got and pictures are nice also, willing to trade the old crampons for either pedals and cleats or newer crampons. The old crampons are Charlet Moser (pre Petzl buyout) Super 12s Scottish toe style, great crampons they just are not big enough for a size 12 plastic boot.

I like to carry glacier glasses and a pair of clear or yellow lensed goggles.

I think the BD guide sucks and so does the Cinch, my climbing partner has one and I have the GRI-GRI. The GRI-GRI is way better it feed smother, and has been tried and true by people way more intense than me.they are both idiot proof. for daily belaying I love the Reverso and cary an ATC as a back-up ever since I watched a guy drop his rap device at the top of a 50m climb. I now carry a back up device. Also consider a prusik or autoblok knot on long rapells for those "epic" moments.

if you are looking for a bombproof point and shoot, I have the pentax optio w10 and it is great. waterproof and dustproof, a great camera climbing and backpacking. there is a newer model but this one is great. my girlfriend has the olympus stylus 725 SW and it too is great.
