I am looking for a climbing partner who may have time off midweek to do some climbing Interested in climbing at Index or some alpine rock but would be down with just about anything. Anyone want to go to Index last minute today? I live here north of the u-district got gear\gas money but no partner\car. Would love to do some aiding but will free climb as well. Can lead C2+ and Mid .10's Tradional. Anyone, Anyone? Supposed to be decent weather today.

Over in Ravenna just north of the U. The weather report as of now says 20% chance of precipitation all day. We might get away with it.

Yeah We were all right, Told my girlfriend we'd be back the same day and got caught in the dark. We were just fine but we couldn't get a hold of her so the search was on! Great climb though! Had a lot of fun except for the worrying the family part. But we'll know better next time. Thanks to S.A.R. folks, met them when we were almost down to the parking lot, and they were happy it turned out to be just a beautiful day for a hike:)

All i have to say is the National park service and the national forest service fee's are bullshit! These Morons having been catering to corporations by giving away our public lands(for extraction I.E mining and timber), for nothing and using tax dollars to make it easier to get to these remote untouched places so they can trash it and again foot us with the bill for clean up when there done (sound familiar, bank bailout anyone)! Instead of paying a fee to go on OUR public lands lets make these company's pay a fraction of what there making off the rape and pillage of OUR land. Instead everybody just buys into this idea that we need to pay for what we use when we already pay for it. On top of all this the American people have still never voted on whether we should have these fee's anyway. Wake up people!
