    I am currently going to school down here in Salem, but I live in the great state of Alaska. There are more hikes, and climbs to do and I dont even know where to start. There is some good stuff to climb in the Alaksa range in July, what grade are you looking for? I am looking at climing Peak 11,300 or Huntington in the End of June or Early July...... I also want to climb Mt. Redoubt(across the inlet from Anchorage. Another good web page is www.alaskamountainforum.com great people and great help.

    Hyalite Ice/Road Conditions

    The ice is FAT!! I climbed G1 and G2 this past week, 3/22-25. There is still 3 feet of snow and cold weather at night. The is going to be around for awile. I also talked to some guys who climbed in the Twin Fall area and it fantastic!! I hope your trip goes well!! Oh and the road conditions are fine, I did get stuck in my 4-runner, but it is because I went off the road...opps....you will be fine. Have fun!!
