Climb: Liberty Bell-Liberty Crack Date of Climb: 6/4/2005 Trip Report: Ben Long and I climbed Liberty Crack on Saturday. It was beautiful weather. We started climbing at 6am. Just about 20-30 feet of snow at the base. Climbed the route using the topo at http://www.stanford.edu/~clint/wa/libcrack.gif Superfun long climb with great views. We got to the top at 4pm. Sunbathed and enjoyed the view for a while then headed home. Gear Notes: One 60m rope One set of cams from #1 TCU to #4 camalot except for double #1 cammalot and lots of nuts.

Anyone want to go to or meet me at Smith this weekend? I am planning on leaving Seattle friday evening coming back Sunday evening. Should be nice rock climbing weather this weekend.

Does anyone think Smith Rocks will be good climbing this weekend? The forecast is for temps in the mid 50's with clouds but only 20% chance of rain. Would vantage be just as good? Anyone want to go?

I moved out to Seattle from Bozeman this fall and have been skiing around Mt. Baker a good bit. I really miss Bozeman but there is a lot of great terrain out here. My goal is to ski some cool peaks this spring as well. If you get in touch with me before you come I can help you out with conditions. I'll even go skiing with you. Keep in touch. Baldwin
