Happy birthday, buddy.
Hope your're feeling better knotzen.

Anyone know why the Rainier web cam is showing two days ago rather than current conditions? Was about to jump in the car, then I noticed the date. Not very helpful.
The mountain view looks accurate, but no way of telling due to no date/time info.

anything cool to see along the route?
Ive heard there is absolutely nothing to see. Good luck!

Sidestep the whole thing and get the National Parks Pass.
That took long enough. All the more reason to by a pass, so now it only takes four trips to cover the cost. Mine will be paid for before chanksgivin.

Looks like things are shaping up. Thanks for the footage

So Kurt, does this apply to the grasslands as well?
Skull hollow is the grass lands

Anything else worth checking out at voyeurweb.com?

I would recommend a jaunt up to comanche peak. Beatiful in the winter and plenty of good lines if you want to bring your ski's. The approach that I took is from Pingree park, a small CSU outpost, well up the Pouder canyon. Check it out

Sheer numbers make up the difference. Gotta say, the snow is better, though.

Well. Id also take boulder over Seattle any day. Its a great town overall with some of the best planning Ive seen. I wouldnt pass it up right now, I just couldnt afford to buy there, nor would I want to stay for the duration. My gf is there right now working for the nature conservancy and she loves it. She's only supposed to be there for a couple months, but I can already tell that Im going to have to either drag her back, or move out there myself.

...and you may as well add boulders brown cloud problem to the list. Nasty. Bend has the cleanest air my sensitive alveoli have ever witnessed.
-
Yeah, but you add encroaching Denver and the yuppie factor (which is way more of a presence than in bend), you negate about half or more of your boulder list. I agree, bend is getting out of hand as far as sprawl and price, but ill take it over bouder any day- you dont have to fight the denver-ites for all of those lovely rec areas in bend...for now.

Woodenville. Thats it! Burnside is fine if you're coming from portland, but isnt it quicker to take 84 out if your coming from the north?
-
There is a little complication in Portland. You take the beltway, 205, and then you take 84 for some miles. I always get mixed up as to where to exit for the easiest connection onto 26 - is it exit 13?
Yeah, you just take the wood-something, or something-wood exit. I just look for wood. Hope this helps!

...and I was just about to apologize, Knotzen, for wrecking your thread. However, I see that it's back in full force, so, spray on

Thanks E. Dont know how I missed that back in August, but thats some pretty creative shit. Is this Becks signature piece, or does he have better? It'd be a damn shame if this is all it takes to get a fella banned.

Easy there selkirk. Learn from others mistakes

Story Time!

It sounds as if this one would be well worth reviving. At least it would be a nice change from the nodder or fat housecats. Do share. I know you've got the link written down somewhere

My condolences to the family and friends of Carl. I, unfortunately, did not know him.
