Does anyone have any recent info on the conditions of mazama glacier on mt. adams? I am thinking of going up this weekend with a friend as an alternative to south side route. We both have some glacier travel experience, but it would be our first trip without more experienced folks along, so we're wondering if the route right now is as straightforward as the books and posters here say.
