What about when, you could only tele turn on cross country skis? ouch black and blue toe nails, yes it was the egg beater sound, I would here as my thumbs got bent back in my mittens and I found out that skinny skis are as fast backwards as they are forwards. Bet you could find a good park rig at value village

Back in about 1976 there was this Dude that used to travel with a freestyle show with Suzy Chaffy, Who would do stuff like flips off of the big freestyle jumps, in snowfeilds, and lovett mt tour skis. He stuck helecopters and all kinds of stuff

Since your new to visiting the Crags, you should become aware of the tradition of exploration that the crags has had for the last 30yrs. And only spray about routes on bar coasters, or paper bags that hold road beers, Thanks

The ratings seem a little soft, BW5 could be the middle of the scale. Does the presence of Blueberrys change the rating? I'm thinking BA1 is OK in national forest. Really it's just something to do while standing in a thicket,cause it's impossable to kill all the Bastards,

Do ya'll have day jobs or what, take a day off work and go climb on a week day,Hell take a whole week off than on Sat,when them croweds of city folks hit you'll be resting cause your so damn tired from climbing so much and you won't find nothen to bitch about. Generations ago ya had to make your own harness and 5.9 was hard, specialy with shoes that hurt. If you think you might die, It's ok to bang a bolt, other wise save it for later,slamming Bolts are not a garentee that you just did a first ascent, it just means you drove a bolt, and it will always be just a bolt, climers don't say what a great job of bolting any body did,(Except for that guy on Cerro torro in 1960+/-) I always think, to bad the rock diden't want to give up that line and offer up some pro. Thats it

After the completion of yet another adventure, It reminded me what you need around here, even more than bolts, are gloves and machetees to reach that special placs, devils club rips your flesh, and protects the top rope tree

I think that in order to simplify climbing to a state more boring than Sport climbing, if you want to do a FA, do that euro/alps thing, first you but big steel things in the rock then you weld, like 1/2 rebar to the big thing. all you need is 2 daisy chains and your off to the races, of course these were built by battalions, just imagine the glory if you made one with your Bro, and kept it secret till your Done, I know somebodys got the picture so "ar "can see what the hell I'm talking about

I've found the best way to get crags info is through a pair of binoc's, bring long pants for the manzanita, and some trade goods for climb info, down at the store. The falcon guide is a miss print.

just to make sure this thing won't die, I'm not sure who anybody was, but linebackers know how to sneek by blockers,and get to the play before it happens, sometimes you just gotta blitz, and huddle on the other side. Set a manky belay and ask if anyone wants to share anchors? oh sorry diden't mean to snake the lead? is that cheating?

It's true the snow pack is droping, if you look at old glacier photos to now, But 92/93? was dry and 93/94 was the Bomb, and 2 yrs ago the blast hit 2weeks into febuary and stoped end of march. So I'm still waiting and if it dosen't hit? I'll just become another road rager on I5

Don't kill youself, try not to think of sking or snow, forget about freshies, sparkely snow, spindrift or chair lifts, your in DC dude. call your buds out here or in the alps and get a plane ticket, but if you have a old style fridge you could build a little ski area with the frost and ski with tooth pick men

With out bringing to much attention to our area it would be good to notify other areas before the races come to their town, but their money is as good as any, and I'm sure it buys secrecy, from the people it employs
