THe impresive glacier on Dome is the Chickamin. Looks even more crazy on the USGS 7.5min topo. THat section of the range is the south end of the Ptarmagin Traverse. Info in the Becky Green Guide (i think, or the red) the area from Cacade pass south to Glacier peak. Cheers and keep climbing. See you on top. Mark
