Went up to goat rocks this weekend. Approach by N Tieton trail. Went up to Neighboring peak of old snowy before it started raining About the 7000 foot level. Did get in a few turns on mushy corn. Not much snow left up there but it was a fun day. All in all spent approx spent about 8.5 hours of hiking for 15 minutes of skiing. If it wasnt for the rain would have yo yoed several peaks and would have gotten more out of it. None the less it was still fun to be out in a beautiful area. Plus I had to whole area to myself other then a hiker or two.

I want to make some turns in the goat rocks area this weekend. Has anyone been there recently. From the road it looks pretty white.
