  1. wazzu: where are you headed to in ID? Considering a trip there sometime soon...
  2. After arriving in county jail (during one of a few visits) this summer, I was treated to the pleasure of having a guard force me to take a piss test. A few days later the C.O. comes by and with his southern-good-'ol-boy twang asks, "Son, just about how much shit do you smoke in a week?" "uh... well... umm..." "Jesus christ boy, your level was over 900. there's so much dope in your system, I could take a blood transfusion from you and be fucked up" "oh?" "You must smoke some GOOD shit." ------------------------------- "The U.S. nonviolent prisoner population is larger than the combined populations of Wyoming and Alaska." Source: John Irwin, Ph. D., Vincent Schiraldi, and Jason Ziedenberg, America's One Million Nonviolent Prisoners (Washington, DC: Justice Policy Institute, 1999), pg. 4.
  3. quote: Dude, your nuts! Ever drive one of those Volvo 850 T5 Wagons? I think they made 850 T5's in the sedan too, now those would be quick It was a '96 850 T5 R [a 5 cyl turbo]. With mods, it was 300+ HP.
  4. willstrickland: I wasn't so lucky on the blood test. Yes, it was a Volvo. erik: No, this isn't a troll. I wish. Smoky: Completely unrealistic.
  5. quote: Now maybe it's just me, but don't you guys wanna know why the 5.0 is hot on his tail before you advise him to c'mon up to Index I was hoping to spare the details, in hopes of keeping this strictly climbing-related but... The only person I nearly murdered was myself and my best friend. Earlier this week I rolled my newly purchased, turbo-charged, swedish sportscar at 70mph before chopping a telephone pole in half. Due to the contents of my blood stream from the previous weekend at home, I'll appear to be a beer pounding, coked up, herb smoking, mushroom munching drug monger. So it's off to the mountains, or the eternal bivi. Its obviously far more complicated than that, but still irrelevent here. Red Dragon
  6. Avid climber/alpinist seeking advice on destinations in the northwest. Looking for somewhere sparsly populated with some climbing. Potential for cheap housing and manual labor employment a plus. Recently put myself into a world of shit with local law enforcement, impending jail-time and anal penetration to be avoided at all costs. Red Dragon(long-time lurker, fleeing the East Coast)
  7. I don't know about "Newbie", but I've been a lurker for awhile. I'm stuck out here on the east coast (Lancaster PA) until the spring when I finish college, and then the plan is to end up somewhere in the Cascades (or wherever the climbing is good). This site has been a good source of climbing info (not to mention entertainment), etc so far, and has definetly made me want to get the hell out of the east, even more. Red Dragon
