However, the goal of getting troops out by 2009 is a line that Obama has slipped into his stump speeches, and does not reflect previous statements on the stump when he was doing town halls throughout Iowa and New Hampshire. Here we agree Mattp. Perfect example: The Democats in Texas had used District boundries to keep Republicans out of office for years and then when the Republicans corrected this outrage the liberal lawyers it the Justice Dept fought them tooth and nail. Thankfully all was put right (just like in the Bush v Gore debacle) by the supreme court. By the way isn't explicit racial gerrymandering unconstituional?
