  1. 1. North Ridge of Baker with Ski Descent

    2. Full Summit Ski Descent of Baker, Adams, St Helens, and Glacier Peak

    3. Sloan Peak (Simple Screw Route)

My favorite thing this year was keeping the BORA 80 in the garage and doing everything in a day.

Even though this caused 2 big failures for myself and partners, especially the ERD on Forbidden and Clark Mountain, but we got damn close to both. frown.gif

The next best thing is finding out my wife and I are gonna have a baby girl on November 12th grin.gif

Best Cragging (not hardest grade, but best)

but the lower corner of the sticker was peeling so all I saw

    "LIFE IS SHORT, SPRAY HARD"

It was 2 lines unlike the one liner above

I think that would be a kick ass bumber sticker

  3. attempted the east ridge last monday sept 1st.

Tried to do it in a day and I think it was too much for us as we moved slower on the pitches since mystic nacho only brought QD's (no i dont blame you dan)

We bailed off the start pf the 5th pitch - lots o booty up there!

    the route was cool

some seriously freakish exposure for sure

the west ridge couloir is gone, only going about 1/2 way up the ridge, have image if you want to see it.

avy debris is easily navigatable, just go straight across, and not veering upwards where some people have trampled a goat path that sucks ass

  4. Even Scarpa Lasers are pretty cool for mountaineering.

I did the entire approach and NR of baker in them. A shocking 21 hours in those things kind of ate my feet up on the hike out, but with the lightweight thermoflex liners (Way to hot for spring conditions) they were not that bad at all.

I think they are awesome for kicking steps. I left my crampons at the sitkum saddle on glacier peak in may, and of course the ice started just a few hundred feet above that, and I had no problems at all.

    AT RULEZ!!!!!!!!!!!
