We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Mystery ranch climbing pack.

Recommended Posts

Just a heads up Mystery Ranch has a climbing pack, unlike many climbing packs it has a real frame and it is adjustable.

That means easier to get a good fitting pack and it should carry a load better.

Cons, may be not as good when climbing and have extra weight. I decided to try it out to give my shoulders a break for awhile. I still have a sack like climbing pack that I can use.

I have the Pitch 55 and I am in the initial use testing phase. Two other packs I would consider to own is the Pitch 40, and the Ravine for mountaineering.

I have no connection with the company.

I have done some climbing with the pack and it did well for me. I have no way to compare it to the other major brands, but I like it.
