This is what we're up against:

 

Mark Berge of Valley City, North Dakota, who was filling gas in a two-cycle snowmobile, said he wouldn't invest in a new, cleaner-burning snowmobile, and figured most other people wouldn't either.

 

"I don't really get a thrill out of going into the park," he said. "All the trees and hills. If you've seen one, you've seen 'em all."

 

When all the snowmobiles are running four cycles, it won't be too soon. They ought to just go down to the local Wal Mart parking lot before the snow plough comes. Mr. Berge would have just as much fun.
