Jay Hoover Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Hi everyone, I'm looking for a climbing partner who is interested in doing some alpine rock routes in the Cascades: WA pass, Enchantments, Leavenworth area, anywhere really. I've been climbing around a year, mostly indoors, some outdoors and I'm excited to get outside more. I'm on TR to about 5.10c and I've lead 5.9. I did some training with NW Mountain School that covered how to place and build anchors and I've done a few basic trad mock leads. At this point I'd love to meet up with fun people who can help me practice and learn. I've got a truck, sport gear, a rope and I've started collecting trad gear. I live in Seattle, but spend a lot of time in the Leavenworth/Wenatchee area. PM me if you're interested in a new partner. Jay Quote

Travis Senor Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Hey man, I'm in Tacoma til the end of August and looking to get out on some mellow/moderate trad. I'd be more than happy to provide some insights and such. I have a full rack, rope, and a good bit of experience. Shoot me a PM on the site if you're interested. I'm free pretty much most days (for day trips). Quote
danpeck Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Jay… I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Looking to get out and practice and work up in the trad world. I am new to climbing about 2 years. My main area of interest is backcountry skiing and alpine climbing. I've discovered that multipitch trad climbing is another one of my soul passions and I just need to find good partners who share my enthusiasm, ethics etc. I live in Poulsbo and get out frequently to the North Cascades and Olympics. I don't think I'm much of a mentor, but perhaps we can mentor one another and grow together Give me a call or text. 360.930.2920 or email. peckdaniel@gmail.com Quote
