Bronco Posted June 13, 2014 Share Posted June 13, 2014 Old Dave, your question isn't really clear, obviously it's an old ice axe that someone replaced the original shaft with a unique piece of wood. I don't recall any climbers with those initials, JBP, could be any random person who had access to an engraving tool. I know, not much help, sorry.
