Climbing 20,21,22 December

I'm looking for a partner to do something this Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday. I would be interested in heading up to Rainier (if we can get through the Longmire gate) to overnight and ski around the lower mountain (6-9k ft elevation) or go for a summit bid.

 

Would also be interested in heading up the grater Mount Baker area and go for the summits or just look around for the best skiing.

 

If there is some technical climbing anywhere, or if anyone is looking for some cold weather rock or aid climbing, those are also on the table.

 

Or anything else is someone else has any other ideas ....

Hi Dave,

 

I can't partner up with you this weekend, however I just got back from an overnight (19-20) at Muir. Had thoughts of a Gib Ledge attempt, but the we didn't even leave Muir this am because of the weather.

 

FYI…as for snow…the skiing would be great till about 8,000. The snow is real wet and compacted from there on down to Paradise. It was freezing rain at Paradise around 2pm.
