cafzal Posted June 1, 2013 Share Posted June 1, 2013 (edited) I'm living on Lopez Island in the San Juans this summer, working on farms M-F and free weekends. There doesn't seem to be any climbing here on the island, but some online research has brought to my awareness the existence of climbing at Mt. Erie in Anacortes. I am in need of sport climbing partners for the next couple months. I just learned how to lead (5.8/5.9 comfortably) and set up anchors (at Smith Rock in early May), and I learned to belay last summer in California, so I'm new to sport, but I've been bouldering for a couple years. I'm 22, safe but down for adventure. I have rope, 'beiners, and runners. If anyone else in NW Wash is also looking for a climbing buddy let me know!
