An interesting article from this group is available here (it's open access). Tom Hornbein is listed in the "list of collaborators" (not authors). What about all the sherpas who fixed the lines for these folks ?

 

Along with all the nice work this team seems to be doing, this project appears to be a good way to fully fund multiple expeditions to the big E .
