Smoker Posted December 7, 2002 Posted December 7, 2002 I am interested in what your choice in cordless roto-hammers is? Dont turn me into a over boltin' freak... cause I am interested in one for our shop. I haven't had a cordless to use in many years and there have been lots of changes in technology. Here is what I want: Light weight for overhead work- less than 10 lbs SDS bit collet mostly 1/4" pinning but able to dis place 1/2" holes when needed 18v or 24v And most importantly # of penetrations per charge. I realize that loyalty to Hilti runs pretty thick but their service record has been poor with our shop and I refuse to consider inviting more problems in the door with their products (although their bit technology is superior to all other sds bits I've used, thats a different issue to their actual tools). Cost of tool/battery life not a huge issue. I want a proven performer. I know there are plenty of folks around that are qualified to offer a opinion so dont be shy. Whats the best? Besides Thanks Smoker Quote
