As our Bozeman, Montana-based Operations Manager, your first mission will be to assess our current operations and come up with fresh ideas that can help us to improve our processes across the board. Top candidates not only think creatively, they have ideas that spring from, and are grounded in, a Six Sigma, 5-S or Lean Manufacturing mindset. Among projects on your front burner will be an ERP conversion from Exact MAX to SAP, in which you'll team with six to eight individuals from headquarters. Ongoing day-to-day responsibilities include taking charge of overall production and ensuring that we're optimized to execute on sales orders. With multiple direct reports from purchasing, manufacturing engineering and production, we're seeking a positive and spirited leader, with prior management experience, who looks for ways to bring people forward in their careers. Besides solid supervisory experience, your analytical prowess and communications skills should also be top notch. We'll rely on you to evaluate the merits of various operations options and take the lead in accumulating the necessary data, compiling it and presenting it to management.
