Smith Partners - Around April 29/30/May1st

I might end up at Smith on April 29th or 30th and stay for a few days. Wondering if there would be people to climb with.

 

I normally lead in 5.11 sport range, easy 5.10 trad, though I did not spend much time at Smith before so dont know what/how I would climb there. Have been climbing for awhile, am safe, and generally easygoing.

Stick to the sport since lugging around a trad rack turns a playground into a slog... Get on Voyage of the Cowdog, walk off with all yer gear past Easy's, and then have fun.

Olive - I'll be arriving tomorrow morning. A friend, Stan will be there this weekend, too, with wife and kids who are competitive climbers. Look for a group of 5 with a 10 year old boy and a 14 year old girl. We'll be doing plenty in your range. My guess is that we'll be mostly on the front side. We may end up in the Lower Gorge or Northern Point if it ends up being too warm. You're welcome to join us.
