KaskadskyjKozak Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I've only been able to find a few (dated) TR's from this route on Maude. It seems most do the N face. I was curious if this is because the Entiat Icefall has melted out so much that it's changed the character of the route for the worse? Has anyone climbed the route or taken a look at it within the last few years? TIA. Quote
jordansahls Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I was out there during the early fall this year to check out the Entiat icefall route. I ended up doing some weird north face variation due to time constaints but the icefall looked to be in. Not sure if that helps but I can tell you the icefall is still there. Quote

I'm curious how much is pitched out and the difficulty of the route. Quote
jordansahls Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 It's hard to say. When I was there it had snowed a few inches but the route looked much like the late season TR's I have seen floating around the interweb. A bit of a scramble getting to the icefall and then a couple of pitches of moderate angle ice, but I'm just guessing. Quote
