Type E Posted July 13, 2011 Share Posted July 13, 2011 Trip: Hick's Butte 5518' Dried Tear Butte 5500' 7.12.11 - Date: 7/12/2011 Trip Report: I used the Granite Creek Trail which is closed due to water damage from the Spring's runoff. The trail is mostly passable and there was a nice show of flowers on Hick's SE Slopes. I followed this slope down after spotting the previously unnamed 5500' highpoint to the SE of Hick's Butte. I was able to find a trail to the viewless summit and then continue on this trail to connect my loop and exit the way I had come.
