We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Camp Muir this weekend - 5/28 or 5/29

Recommended Posts

Looking for partner(s) to snowshoe to Camp Muir this weekend - either Sat. or Sun. (5/28 or 5/29). We can meet in the Tacoma area or at Paradise. I'd like to start early to make it up and back before dark. I don't mind snowboarding/skiing down if you'd like.

About me: mid-30s male, in good shape, seasoned hiker, have all my own gear and an extra set of snowshoes (but no poles)

I would be interested in trying to get to muir this Saturday. Call me at 509-979-2336 if you are still interested.

About me, I have two successful summits of Rainier, and I really love hiking and climbing stuff. Lately I haven't been able to get out too much due to work, but this would be a good fun trip.
