MRiley Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Major bonehead move. Put the rack down to sort out the rope for rappelling and lauched off without. Small rack with mostly old gear, but if someone finds it before I get back there later this week, I would gladly reward the finder. Quote
thos Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Any hits? Looks like a good possibility after seeing the other posts. Quote
toddtsuyoshi Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 i got your rack... glad to know you left it there as there was a backpack at the bottom, a rack on top and some rope draped off part of the north ridge. i was a little worried something happened to someone up there. still a little confused about the backpack and rope! i live in north seattle. how should we go about getting your gear back to you? thos Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 My faith in humanity and the climbing community is strong and reaffirmed with Todd's rescue of wayward gear. Thank you Todd you did the right thing! Quote
MRiley Posted October 7, 2010 Author Posted October 7, 2010 Todd: Thanks so much for letting me know. I am in Olympia, but will be in Seattle on Friday afternoon for work and then again on Saturday with family. Is there some time that would work for you on either day? Friday is a little better for me as it is more flexible without having to drag the family around. Please let me know what works for you. My cell # is 360-870-4856 and email addresses are: rileymj1e6@gmail.com (personal) mriley@anchorqea.com (work) Feel free to use either address. I get the work email continuously all day, but the personal email less frequently. Thanks again and so much appreciated. Mike Riley Quote
