thin_air_aaron Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 (edited) Cleaning out my closet and getting rid of some excess gear. Prices are pretty firm but willing to entertain reasonable offers. Not sure how to post pics on here but I have pics of all gear available, just email aaron.tiff@gmail.com and I’ll send them to you. $250 – Grivel Alp Wing Ice Tools (both with hammer, Grivel Easy G Leashes, and Evolution picks in good shape) – great deal for a very versatile and solid set of alpine tools $225- Wild Things Andinista pack (size S, yellow) - original model that is tough to come by these days, a few years old but still in great shape, retails new for $360 on backcountrygear.com $225 – Black Diamond 42L Anarchist pack w/ internal Avalung, BRAND NEW (torso size measure 20 inches, black) - bought this a couple years ago but it hasn’t seen a single use has just been sitting in my closet (the Avalung mouthpiece even has the plastic still on it), retails for $279 from blackdiamondequipment.com $125 – Atlas 1025 Showshoe, , LIKE NEW, orange with black– used once 2 years ago and has sat in my closet since, really in phenomenal condition, retails new for $160 on REI.com $125 - Vasque Ice 9000, red/black (older version), size 8.5 (that I would say is true to size), bought these used and went on one hike with them before realizing they were too tight in the toe area for me (I’m normally a 9.5 in street shoe) $40 – Black Diamond Bod All-Around Harness (the one with padding), BRAND NEW w/ mesh carrying bag – purchased but ended up using a different harness that suited me better (if you purchase and aren’t fully convinced that it’s brand new and safe to use, send it back and I’ll refund your money), retails for $50 on moosejaw.com $30 – Voile metal shovel w/ D handle, BRAND NEW – black with yellow blade, solid 2-piece shovel that I’ve just never used $30 – Black Diamond Ascent trekking poles – DECENT SHAPE, pretty solid but one showed some give when I was hauling heavy loads up/down Aconcagua, never had any problems with lighter loads so should be fine for casual hiking $15 – “Select Climbs in the Cascades, Volume 1” by Jim Nelson and Peter Potterfield, good condition Edited September 20, 2010 by thin_air_aaron Quote
