Suggested Camping between Seattle and Ingalls Lake

I'm driving down from Vancouver, BC tonight to meet my partner at the trailhead. Never been down that way and was thinking I would camp or stay at an inexpensive hotel (not a fleabag hotel).

 

Any recommendations?

look at "29 pines" -- free, ~15 miles short of the TH (right at the end of the paved road).
