Emmons Glacier Route Conditions

Anyone been up lately and how are the climbing conditions? I have a climb scheduled for later this month. Thanks

Was up there today - the gate is still closed at HYW 410 which forces the extra 6 miles to the trailhead. The Ranger claims the road is plowed to the campground with high walls along the roadway. The road may open this Friday (May 21).

I basically heard the same thing SB. Except they also mentioned there was not a ton of snow this year and that people had skiied down from Sherman.
