Dan Mazur Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 REI Seattle has asked me to make a presentation about climbing Mount Everest, Expedition Leadership and my rescue of Lincoln Hall who had been left for dead close to the summit by his own climbing party. I was wondering if any of you would like to attend and enjoy the show as well as giving you an opportunity to find out more about climbing in the Himalaya. The presentation is on Thursday March 18th at 7pm at the REI Flagship Store in Seattle. 222 Yale Ave N. Seattle, WA 98109 Here is a link to the presentation website REI Seattle - Mount Everest Presentation Thank you very much and I am grateful for your thoughtfulness and hope you can make it. pup_on_the_mountain Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 I enjoyed Dan's presentation at Moscow, ID. Definitely recommended.
RocketJSquirrel Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 What an awesome guy. It was really nice to see him greet people, shake their hands, and ask them their names. Even during Q&A, same thing- he'd shake your hand if you were close enough. He seems like a genuinely nice fella. I wish he'd had more time than he did. I strongly recommend seeing him talk if you ever get a chance.
