Hi,

I just moved to Seattle and am anxious to get out on the rock with all this nice weather. I've been going to Stone Gardens the last couple of days but really want to explore some areas around Seattle-- maybe Index, Leavenworth, Gold Bar, etc. I haven't been to any of these places so I'm a newbie in that sense.

I'm looking to lead about 10b/c sport and hopefully can follow up to about 12b/c (haven't lead a ton above the 10 level but imagine I can learn quick). I have a full rack of trad gear but would probably only be comfortable leading about 5.9. Just getting into the v6's bouldering.

And the best part is I don't have a job right now! So if the weather is bad in the morning but clears up in the afternoon, I'm looking for some people who would want to get out and climb. Hopefully we can find some dry rock but if not, maybe some overhangs or at the least, just explore. Or maybe clean some new projects!!! I'm pumped up on Seattle right now and the more I read the more excited I get. There seems to be a huge number of sweet existing routes and an even crazier number of potential areas.

I'm also looking to do road trips to pretty much anywhere. I have a hondo sedan that barely fits my crashpad but would be willing to drive if people want to squish. Particularly interested in checking out Squamish, Smith Rocks and maybe even Red Rocks if we can make it worth it and do a whole week.

So if you are interested, PM me and I can give you my phone number and we can chat.

Cheers,

Ricky
