Recommendations North of 90?

Looking for a place to go backcountry skiing north of the 90 corridor, maybe around highway 2 somewhere. Anyone know of any good areas with pretty low avy exposure? Thanks!

There is some good terrain across the highway from Steven's Pass, same as the area across from the Baker Ski Area. I am probably going to head up around Stevens tomorrow, I will let you know how it is.

Check out the guidebooks on wenatcheeoutdoors.org. You will find about 50 routes between Blewett and Stevens. Excellent maps, route descriptions etc. The website also has other guides (hiking, rock climbing, ice climbing, whitewater and more).Lots of informative articles as well.There are a number of books out there that are helpful, my favorite is Backcountry Ski and Snowboard Routes by Raineer Burgdorfer.
