pdxclimberhiker Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Looking for anybody to go climb Mt. Adams. No prior experience required as this is just a walk up to the summit climb, albeit long and steep at times. You don't need crampons for this climb. Heck, you don't even need ice axe but it would be nice for some glissading for whatever snow remains there at this time. Camp overnight at Cold Springs campground, start about 4 am Saturday and be back in the afternoon. I live in Portland so either we carpool or meet at the camp. I climb this mountain every year. Don't worry about the conditions you might have read in the other post here. Best way to contact me is my email at pdxcpa@gmail.com Quote
Josh Lewis Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I've been wanting to do this one! Count me in! I've been to the False summit, but had to turn around due to no crampons, plus the leader made the call to turn around and there were heavy winds. I want to do this one! Quote
