Mt Hood climbing guide?

Hi ,

 

Am new to the pacific NW, just moved over from New Zealand a week ago. Am looking for a mountaineering/ alpine guide that includes all routes on Mt Hood? Do the beckey cascade guides cover this?

If you're asking about a guide book versus a guide service, then no, Beckey does not cover Mt. Hood. You can check out something like "Climbing the Cascade Volcanoes" or any of the myriad trip reports on this website.

oh yeah, i suppose you did mean a book as opposed to a service...oops. here's my recoommendation for Oregon High if you can get a copy ($50+ on eBay)

There's usually some copies of Oregon High at Powells if you're already in Portland.
