Ski Mt Adams: May 30-June1

Hello, I am looking for someone to ski Adams with this weekend (or this week... my days are flexible). Please let me know if you're interested!

Hey I was thinking about perhaps this weekend? Which route are you considering?

I was planning to do the same (with a Friday night Seattle departure) and a 1 day climb and ski for Saturday -- my partner came down sick last night and may or may not be ready for a Saturday afternoon departure and a Sunday climb/ski.

 

I wouldn't mind having a back-up plan if he doesn't recover if others are interested -- we could also make it a 3/4 person party if others are interested in the same agenda/ route.

 

Idea is to climb South ridge and descend Avalanche Glacier headwall if it looks good or SW Chutes as a back-up. Road is clear to within 1 mi of trailhead.

 

New plan would be to leave Seattle around 4pm on Saturday.

My wife and I are going to crash at the TH Saturday night and do the SW Chutes on Sunday. Perhaps we'll see you up there.

I'm interested in joining up for the Adams ski, preferably climbing on Sunday (May 31st). My buddies backed out of doing Forbidden this weekend (two w/ bad backs and one's sick), so I'm looking for other options. Let me know if you want to join up.

That's cool, We'll be in the Green Tacoma at the TH Saturday night. Might be a zoo but it also might be cool to hang out with anyone who wants to and have a few beers. We just did the forbidden tour last weekend - it was spectacular.
