Southside of Hood first week in June

I am looking at doing hood the first week in June (most likely Wed or Thursday if the conditions are good). Don't have much for mountaineering experience but I've at least done South Sister and Helens. So if anyone is interested in showing a newbie the ropes, I'll pack the wild turk to the top!
