Mal_Con Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 The is a string at NW Hikers that says Longview Timber has prevailed on the USFS to close the access due to shooters endangering their employees. The trail had been maintained by 3 climbers who apparently lost interest. The FS appears to be wavering if enough folks volunteer or at least call them. A person there had a long conversation with Barb Bussey (360-677-2414) and she was very informative and willing to discuss the issues. She said this was the second person to call, so call her and voice your concern. This is an emergency closure and she didn't know when it would happen.
