Broken buckle--Repairable?

Scrambling between snowfields this fall on Ptarm. Ridge I popped a buckle clean off. Does anyone know if shops are able to rivet a new buckle on through the old hole?

Depends how trashed the hole is, but a good boot fitter/ski service should be able to set you up.

Dave Page in Fremont will do it; I did the same thing on a pair of Garmonts, and they are as good as new. TBTW, the shop has crazy hours.
