Rockdan Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Hi. I'm interested to go Darrington or Leavenworth. I can lead up to low 10s and have lots of experience. Dont mind climbing with newbys if you are enthusiastic. Give me a shout! dan Quote
Juan_Moreclimb Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Hey Dan Just visiting from Georgia...planning to drive out to Trout tomorrow, even without a partner, just to see that place...but would dig climbing with you Sunday at either of those locations you mentioned (since I've never been to either one, it's your call). I brought along a few #1s, 2s &3s to supplement any potential partners rack for Trout, but could bring more gear due to airline baggage restrictions. If you'd be interested in climbing either at Trout tomorrow or wherever on Sunday, give me a call at 404 849-8657 cheers Michael Quote
curtveld Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 If you don't connect with Juan, I'd be up for something on Sunday. I have similar experience (lots) and capabilities as you. Darrington would be great if dry. Shoot me a PM if interested. Quote
Juan_Moreclimb Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 ...if dan doesn't get get back to either one of us, let me know and we can climb something somewhere Quote
Rockdan Posted September 26, 2008 Author Posted September 26, 2008 Darrington Sunday sounds good. Perhaps we can find a 4th? Juan (Michael): Where the heck is "trout"? I heard of a place in Oregon, but not Washington....?? dan Quote
Juan_Moreclimb Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 yup, you're right Dan...Trout Creek is about 3 hours southeast of Portland. and looks spectacular from the pics i've found online. I'm actually here in portland, but my moto this weekend is "have rental car--will travel". Just really want to get outside before my week of work begins out here. So where do you think i best that I meet up with you (et al.)on Sunday? Quote
Juan_Moreclimb Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 heya Dan...i just got a line on a partner closer to Portland...now you guys won't need that fourth at least. But if you're ever climbing in Georgia (or TN or NC or AL) feel free to drop me a line. I climb outside almost every weekend and if I'm not headed out, can certainly hook you up. have a great sunday out at Darrington! best michael Quote
curtveld Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Sounds good Michael. I'm sure you'd enjoy the climbing and scenery up here in the North Cascades, but you'd be paying for it with a bunch of time sitting on the interstate. Doubt you can go wrong down at Trout Creek. Dan, I sent you an email. Quote
Rockdan Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 Ok Michael. Have fun at Trout. Curt: I responded. We're good to go for sunday. dan Quote
