DomanC Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 I'm spending the summer on Vashon Island and was hoping to get out and see the mountians a bit while here. I am in my 20's, female, a novice climber--that is I can sport climb 5.10's on a good day. I go along with more accomplished climbers to Red River Gorge in KY pretty often, but have limited experience leading. I can lead belay, and have my own shoes , harness, and ATC, no rope. I'd also be happy with just getting a ride to and from the Seattle or Tacoma area to any good hiking or backpacking places any given weekend. I'd pay my share of gas money and drive time. Before heading out with anyone it would be nice to meet up at a gym or for coffee to see if we're compatible climbers or people. Thanks.
