tango2 Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I'm going on a trip to Croatia and Slovania in Sepetmeber and would like to know if anyone has any beta they can share with me. I'm responsible for the Croatia part of the trip. We will be climbing at the national park called Paklencia and then to Rovnj. If anyone has any information about climbing there they can share or has the Paklencia guide book, I'd really like to hear from you. Any positive comments would be helpful. Quote
crackers Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 You might be better off posting this over in the "other climbing areas" section of the forum. That said, yeah, i've climbed a ton in Slovenia and Croatia. September is the perfect time. How hard, sport or gear? Quote
tango2 Posted July 13, 2008 Author Posted July 13, 2008 Thanks for your reply. We are at about the 5.6 to 5.8 trad level and 5.9 t0 5.10 sport level. I was hoping to get a peak at a climbing guide for the area before we went over there. I'm a reluctant about buying one on line because, as far as my research goes, have to come from outside the country. I know there are some good ones. If you have any beta on any climbs there in Paklencia or about accomodations, I'd love to hear from you. We will have wheels for this trip. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Quote
