Kilimanjaro partner(s)

Two of us are booked on a climb of Kilimanjaro, followed by safari, early 2009. Fly out of Sea-Tac on 1/18, return on 2/4. We are climbing the Western Breach route up the mountain. It is considered the hardest, and has been closed the past couple of years after rockfall killed four climbers. Anyone else...?

huh, since when is the western breach considered harder than the breach wall? 3rd class must be really scary these days.

You're right, Winter. It's just that no one will guide up the breach wall. I meant the Western Breach is the toughest of the available routes, certainly not anything difficult.
