Austria1 Posted June 1, 2008 Posted June 1, 2008 I am in the time from 7.28.08-8.14.08 with my family in the area of grand teton and would like to climb this peak. I would prefer Upper Exum Ridge II 5,5. I have done several high and difficult mountains (e.g. Mt. Blanc, Denali, Alpamayo, Matterhorn, Weisshorn and many more) and look back to an experience of about 25 years mountaineering. I am holder of a valid Austrian high alpine instructor certificate as well. I am able to do this tour on my own, I just don't want to do it with out belaying (rope). Free solo isn't my choice, especially not with family. It would be great if I could find anybody about as experienced as I am for this climb (I don't want to pull anybody up there as well as I won't be pulled up the mountain). Experience and practiced knowledge in belaying is important. There won't be time for training on the tour. I will bring my peronal equipment including a sufficient number of friends, nuts, slings....(ice axe and crampons as needed) I can also bring the rope. I am looking forward to this nice adventure and hope that there is somebody out there who would like to share the experience. Eugen Quote
