snow in the squamish area

i figured some WA/OR folk might like to know snowline conditions at rock climbing around squamish.

 

there is snow on the second and third summits of the chief. walking off from angels crest currently requires a bit of postholing. the crest itself is reportedly pretty dry, though.

 

the cheakamus canyon area has lots of snow. getting to chek requires walking from the highway. a friend of mine was climbing there two weeks ago and acquired pneumonia from the cold and wet belaying conditions. routes themselves are dry, though.

 

pls. update this thread with latest conditions as the snow melts.
