lisa Posted July 10, 2001 Posted July 10, 2001 Does anyone have any recent info on the north face of Buckner? Quote
viking Posted July 11, 2001 Posted July 11, 2001 Lisa A couple friends did the route three weekends ago, said it was great. Straight forward with no major unexpected problems. I'll tell then that there is a post on it and maybe one of then will give you some imfo you can use. Remember climbing and skinnydipping is what life is about. Quote
Climzalot Posted July 12, 2001 Posted July 12, 2001 A friend of mine got back from the climb yesterday afternoon. He reported soft snow conditions all the way to, from, and including the route. He said there were no major issues on the approach. They went over the Boston/Sahale Col. He did mention that the North Face will not be in condition for too much longer due to the Schrund which typically forms about halfway up. About 11-13 hours or so car to car. Quote
