Does anyone here know the details of setting up basecamp below the snow dome, across the blue glacier, and about the guy who carries your gear to Elk Lake on horseback? Fairweather Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 There are some neat melt ponds and flat camping areas (both on and off snow) about halfway between Blue Glacier and the top of Snow Dome. I'll see if I have any pics. You can also camp across Snow Dome near the UW research hut at Panic Peak last I heard. Sorry, but I don't know about the horseback thing. Quote
