Altimeter Watches

Looking into getting an Altimeter watch. I'd like to use it for backcountry skiing and climbing the volcanos. Anyways, I'm interested in everyones opinion on what watch I should get and if the one in the link is a good one to consider. Also, I can't see myself spending more than $200 on something I know I have a good chance of loosing in a week or two.
