Noodle Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I'm looking to get out and do something on ice this weekend. Top-roping, bouldering, alpine, whatever. Anyone have suggestions for places in WA? I'm guessing that the Coleman seracs are out after the dumping this week. Saw the post about some stuff in Leavanworth which looks interesting. Any other ideas? Quote
G-spotter Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 There's a two-pitch column that sometimes forms up on the granite crag in Renton, on the left near the descent gully. Not sure if it is cold enough to have formed yet, though. Take pics if you go. Quote
Noodle Posted November 27, 2007 Author Posted November 27, 2007 Are you referring to the mysterious vanishing granite crag that nobody can seem to locate? http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/656466/fpart/1 Quote
G-spotter Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Yeah. Some people sure have trouble finding it. I think there are good directions on mountainproject.com Quote
