Hi:

My name's Mark and I live in the flat lands of Delaware. I've climbed several glaciated peaks in the Cascades by the normal route (Shasta, Hood, Rainier). I've also recently climbed on peaks in Ecuador(Cayambe, Cotopaxi, Chimborazo). Through all that I've missed out on learning how to perform a proper crevasse rescue. I want to become more self sufficient on the mountain so I'm looking for a partner(s)to take a private 2 day dedicated crevasse rescue class with the American Alpine Institute out at Mt. Baker. Right now my preference would be July 13-14 as I want to take an additional class (Alpinism 2) with AAI that starts immediately after this.

Alternately if anyone wanted to volunteer to help me learn the proper skills that would be cool too! I'll drive you out there and buy you dinner, etc. Maybe we could add in a Mt. Baker ascent as well. Send me an email here or at the mark_oneal@yahoo.com if you're interested. Thanks!
