woodchips Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 We're going to be in seattle on sat night, and looking for some alpine rock for a day trip on sunday. We were initially looking at the tooth, but thought maybe we'd try something less obvoius. I've been looking at Lundin Peak. Any beta on this climb? I'm looking for something 5.5 or under that's hopefully melted out (don't mind a snow filled approach, figure we'll need axes.) Any other suggestions up near snoqualmie? I'm assuming the teanaway road is still snowed in? Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Lundin's not much of a rock climb. There's the NEB of Chair. I think the Tooth is the best quality of all of them. Just get an early start and get ahead of the crowds. If you're wanting a more alpinish adventure, enchain Snoqualmie with Lundin with Red. Quote

Yeah, I realized that Lundin's more of a scramble after I reread the description. Any idea what snow conditions on Chair might be? I'll check out the Snoqualmie/Lundin/Red idea too. Thanks Quote
